Club Bolivar


El Club Bolivar, a football team from Bolivia, was founded in La Paz on April 12, 1925, with the name Atletico Bolivar Literario Musical later changed to "Club Atletico Bolivar". Their home stadium is Estadio Libertador Simon Bolivar although they often play at the Estadio Hernando Siles.

Bolivar is the second Bolivian team that reached a final match on an international tournament, and the first one to lose one. (Copa Sudamericana 2004).

Colours

Bolivar traditional home colours are all light blue, traditional away colours are all dark blue, white or red.

Rivalry

The Club Bolivar classic rival is The Strongest, both teams are from La Paz. This game always draws large attendances.
