Synopsis
The film is based on Tango music, an integral part of Argentine culture.
The 1991 film is an adaption of the theatrical play by Carlos Gorostiza, one of the essential plays of the Open theatre movement, formed by many of the most important names in Argentine theatre. The story revolves around the central character of Tuco (portrayed by Carlos Carella) a singer who aims to make his debut on television.

The film debuted in Buenos Aires on 23 May 1991.
