Roy Chaderton Matos was the foreign minister of Venezuela from May 2002 to February 2004 in the government of Hugo Chavez. He then served as Ambassador of Venezuela to France until August 2007, when he was appointed Ambassador to Mexico.

Roy Chaderton Matos is a Venezuelan politician, lawyer, and diplomat. A lawyer who graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, he is one of the most experienced members of the Venezuelan diplomatic corps.
