Modesto Sandoval Cespedes

Modesto Sandoval was born in Luque Paraguay he is a Paraguayan soccer goalkeeper who was one of the best of his own country in his early years, and then in Venezuela being local champion various times. He now lives in Luque and he is the goalkeeper trainer in the Club Cerro Porteno.

After his professional career Sandoval trained a lot of notable goalkeepers in different clubs. Right now he still trains goalkeepers and works in Cerro Porteno. The most noticables are Sergio Goycochea, Faryd Aly Mondragon both in Cerro Porteno, Jose Luis Chilavert in Sportivo Luqueno and Justo Villar in Sol de America and in the Club Libertad. Villar is now playing as first goalkeeper in the national team of Paraguay.
