Prostitution in Peru
Prostitution in Peru is legal, as is the ownership of brothels, but must be licensed. The entire industry is largely unregulated. Brothels are licensed and regulated by the Ministry of Interior. Prostitutes must be registered with the Government, carry ID cards and submit to a check-up every 15 days. [*] [*]
