Luis Fierro

Luis Alberto Fierro is an economic and social development practitioner from Ecuador.

Luis Fierro is currently the Resource Mobilization Coordinator for the Office in Europe of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Previously, from 1997 to February 2008, he held a number of posts at the headquarters of the IDB, including Senior Program Coordinator at the Sustainable Development Department.

Luis Fierro holds graduate degrees focusing on Development Economics, International Economics, Environmental Economics, and Public Finance, from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oregon . He also holds the degree of Economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador).
