Velvet-purple Coronet

The Velvet-Purple Coronet (Boissonneaua jardini) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family.

It is found in Colombia and Ecuador.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and heavily degraded former forest.
