Mateo Camargo

Mateo Camargo is a Colombian-born songwriter, record producer, and guitarist of rock band Madina Lake.

He moved to the United States and attended Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida for recording/audio engineering, which is where he met fellow Madina Lake bandmate Dan Torelli. As well as being the guitarist, Mateo also does programming adding synths, effects and electronic beats to the band's sound. He has a tattoo on his lower back.

Mateo was previously in a band called Reforma with Dan Torelli that relocated to Chicago. The two of them met Nathan and Matthew Leone from The Blank Theory, and quickly befriended them. Mateo played guitar for them shortly before The Blank Theory disbanded, and the four of them formed Madina Lake.
