Marcio Roberto dos Santos

Marcio Roberto dos Santos, best known as Marcio Santos is a former Brazilian footballer, who played as a defender for such teams as Internacional, Fiorentina and Ajax. He was born in Sao Paulo. He was a member of the Brazilian national football team that won the 1994 FIFA World Cup, in which he scored one goal in the group stages, against Cameroon. He did however miss his penalty in the shootout in the final against Italy, but Brazil went on to win regardless. He played 43 games for the Brazilian national team between 1990 and 1997, scoring five goals.
