Horacio de la Pena

Horacio de la Pena , nicknamed El Pulga (Spanish for "the flea"), is a tennis coach and a former tennis player from Argentina.

De la Pena was born in Buenos Aires. He began playing on the ATP circuit at age thirteen. His best singles ranking achieved in 1987 was number 31. He won 4 titles in his career, all of which were on clay.

De la Pena is most well known as coach of Chilean Fernando Gonzalez for 5 years until 2006, in addition to coaching Gonzalez, he also used to coach fellow countrymen Gaston Gaudio and Jose Acasuso. He was the unofficial (because of his nationality) captain of the Chilean Davis Cup team. He later coached Guillermo Coria.
