Andes Lineas Aereas

Andes Lineas Aereas is an airline based in Salta, Argentina. It operates regional services, as well as charter flights to tourist destinations in Argentina and Brazil on behalf of local tour operators. Its main base is Martin Miguel de Guemes Airport, with a hub at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Buenos Aires.


Andes Lineas Aereas began operations on 20 June 2006 with services between Salta and Buenos Aires. On December 4th, 2006, the airline added scheduled service to Puerto Madryn. The airline is preparing to add service to Tucuman and other cities.

The Andes Lineas Aereas operates the following aircraft (as of 9 April 2009) [*]:

2 McDonnell Douglas MD-82 LV-BHF, LV-BNI

1 McDonnell Douglas MD-83 LV-BTH

1 McDonnell Douglas MD-87 LV-BZR

2 Bombardier CRJ900 (orders)

Two previously owned 90-seat Bombardier CRJ900 are going to replace 2 MD-8S planes.

With the new CRJ900 aircraft, Andes Lineas Aereas plans to increase its services to include daily flights to Salta, Jujuy, Cordoba, Puerto Madryn and thrice-weekly flights to Puerto Iguazu and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia.
