Gabriela Barros Tapia, Miss Chile Universe 2004, was chosen on May, 2004 under the organization of Ana Maria Cummins and Zegers DDB Agency. The first runner-up was Francisca Silva (Miss America Latina Chile 2004).
Barros represented Chile in Miss Universe 2004 where she classified between fifteen semifinalists, staying in the place number 12. The winner was Miss Australia, Jennifer Hawkins.
Nowadays, she's an international model and takes part in a program of Italian broadcaster RAI.
