Topics: Peruvian dances

The Peruvian Vals (known in Peru as the vals criollo) is a permutation of the European Waltz, which was brought to the South American continent by Spanish colonists. It gained widespread popularity in Peru from the 30's through the 70's, and was also well appreciated in other South American countries.
