Yesterday Ingrid Betancourt was awarded with the Principe de Asturias award. The jury stated that "she personifies all those people in the world who have been deprived of their freedom as a result of their defence of human rights and their fight against terrorist violence, corruption and drug trafficking". Does she??? As I know she is a very very wealthy politicians in a poor country. She was kidnaped, but she has support of France, and the europen community, plus hs wealthy familiy. I think not many kidnaped people has all this support.
