Manuel Ezequiel Bruzual
Manuel Ezequiel Bruzual , was a military leader committed to liberal ideas, also in charge of the War and Navy Ministry in 1864, and in 1868 was designated provisional President of Venezuela.
He participated actively in the Federal War, fought in Purereche, Buchivacoa, Barquisimeto and Portuguesa. Later, once the Federalist Government was restored, presided by Juan Crisostomo Falcon, was designated to the War and Navy Ministry (1864). He resigned the position shortly afterward.
