Argenis Diaz is a Major League Baseball short stop. He is currently a member of the Boston Red Sox' 40-man roster and most recently played with the Hawaii Winter Baseball leagues' Honolulu Sharks.

He was acquired by the Boston Red Sox organization in July 2003 as an international free agent. He started his professional career in by playing with the Gulf Coast Red Sox
