Vujadin Boskov

Vujadin Boskov is a retired Serbian football player and coach.

Boskov was born in the village of Begec near Novi Sad, Danube Banovina, Kingdom of Yugoslavia). He played with FK Vojvodina for most of his career (1946-1960). He also won the became a playing member of the Yugoslavia national team, and was part of the team that won the silver medal at the 1952 Olympic football tournament.

In 1961 he moved to Italy to play for Serie A club Sampdoria for one season (1961/62), before accepting a stint as a player/coach at Swiss side Young Boys (1962-1964). Boskov then returned ...
