The Seminar of Lima Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo is the manager of preparing the priests for the Archdiocese of Lima. It has head office in Lima, Peru and can be considered to be one of the most ancient of the American continent (1590).

History

The Seminar of Lima was founded on December 7, 1590 by the Holy Archbishop Toribio de Mogrovejo thinking about how to instruct the future priests of the City of the Kings.

Reception

It receives the young people who want to be priests, cultivating fully and clearly the vocation of the candidates forming them to be real followers of Jesus Christ. It grows in confidence in loyalty of the Catholic Church then to serve the Archbishop.
