Club Jose Galvez is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Chimbote.

History

On October 27, 1951, the club was founded as Manuel Rivera. The club was named after Manuel Rivera Sanchez, who was a Chimbote city footballer.

On November 11, 1963, the club was renamed to its current name, Jose Galvez FBC, because the Peruvian Football Federation determined that the clubs could not be named after living people.
