Club Atletico Chalaco
History
Founded on June 9, 1899 in the port city of Callao in Lima, Peru. Atletico Chalaco play their home games at the Telmo Carbajo Stadium (named after the club's best player). Atletico Chalaco was the top team in Callao until eclipsed by their rival Sport Boys, which has become a mainstay in the championship division. In 2005, Atletico Chalaco played in the Copa Peru whose champion is promoted to the first division of Peruvian soccer.
