Blanca Island
Blanca Island is located to 0906'18.0 of South Latitude and 07837'18.0 of western length. It approximately has an area of 3200m. of length and 920m. of wide. Its Maxima top measures 204 m.s of
height.
This Island is an ecological and tourist reserve of adventure conformed by a beautiful devoid mountain of vegetation that comprises the set of islands of the bay "the Ferrol". The northwest of the city of Chimbote to about 5 km of distance of the coast is located in the part. It presents/displays like attractive the way of the guano, the litico forest, the fauna of the island, coves, defiles, etc.

SOUTH: North Ferrol island
NORTH: Hill of Youth.
WEST: The Pacific Ocean
EAST: Chimbote port
Its relief is very rough, rocky. It has White appearance, this must to the rest of guano of the birds. Their contours are very deep, especially in the side the west of the Island.
The Island does not have human population. Formed by lofty hills (slippery) and whitish by the guano. It serves from refuge to some guaneras birds as the pelicans and the gulls (they rest and they make his necessities physiological). When taking refuge these guaneras birds in this place bring with himself their garrapatas and to maintain the ecological balance in the Island exist the small lizards that feed themselves on the garrapatas.
In the environs are marine wolves, in the borders of their beaches are found shells, clams, choros, maruchas, crabs, snails, cochayuyo, etc.
