Posguerra ("Post-war") is a Colombian punk band from Medellin, Antioquia, formed in 1991.
One of the band's characteristics is their lyrics that talk about ecology.
History
Though Posguerra officially begins in 1991 the history of the band starts in 1987. The friends Jhony Rivera, Juan Andres Cardenas (guitar) and Wilfer Estrada, still going through their high-school studies, decide to form a band called Psiquiatria ("Psychiatry"). This band ends in 1989 when Wilfer has to leave to military service.
In 1990 Jhony and Juan Andres begin to compose new songs preparing to continue doing music when Wilfer returns.
