Greg Giraldo (born 1965 in New York City) is an American stand-up comedian, based in New York. Giraldo was born and raised in Queens, New York, and is the oldest son of immigrant parents from Colombia (father) and Spain (mother) Before becoming a comedian, Giraldo worked as a lawyer, having attended Regis High School, Columbia University, Harvard Law School, and Camp Rising Sun, the Louis August Jonas Foundation's international summer scholarship program .
