Carolina Ovalle Arango, known to fans as "Carolina La O" is a Colombian Salsa singer. She was a member of the salsa/cumbia group, Alquimia until 1999, when she released her own solo record, El Son de Ahora [*], with a rhythm similar to the work she did while in Alquimia. This album is an astonishing tour-de-force displaying the power of her big, brassy voice.
