List of extreme points of Chile
This is a list of the extreme points of Chile, the points that are farther north, south, east or west than any other location. Its southernmost point is often said to be Cape Horn, the southernmost part of its inshore islands.
Latitude and longitude
Chile
Northernmost point: North east of Ancomarca, Tarapaca Region
Southernmost point: Aguila Islet, Diego Ramirez Islands, Magallanes Region
Westernmost point: Motu Nui, off Easter Island
Easternmost point: Nueva Island, Magallanes Region
¹ If Antarctic Chilean Territory claims are considered, in suspension by the Antarctic Treaty, the southernmost point is the south pole .
² If Antarctic Chilean Territory claims are considered, in suspension by the Antarctic Treaty, the esternmost part is the 53W meridian over Antarctica.
