Juan Manuel Pena Montano is a former Bolivian footballer, who played mainly as a central defender.
At Villarreal, Pena figured less prominently, but managed to score a rare goal, in a 30 home success over Malaga CF, on December 19, 2004. After just six league appearances during 200607, he switched to Celta de Vigo, in the second level.
Following two seasons of intermittent use, Pena retired in mid-November 2009 aged 36, not wishing to pursue his career anymore, after careful deliberation. Recently, however, he has joined DC United during it's preseason, reuniting with former teammate Jaime Moreno.
